On September 26-27, McKinsey Design partnered up with Design Matters in Copenhagen, the yearly design conference for those interested in exploring digital design now and in the future. Design Matters brings together practitioners from around the world for two days of talks, workshops, discussions and socializing in Copenhagen –“from designers for designers”.

To better understand and quantify the relationship between good design and business outcomes, over the past five years McKinsey Design has studied the design actions and financial performance of 300 organizations. McKinsey Design Partner Ben Sheppard previewed the results of this global study and how this can help leaders understand The True Value of Design.

On September 27th, Veryday COO Anna Bäck, together with our friend and colleague Pedro Tolipan, Associate Partner at McKinsey Design, conducted the strategic and inspirational workshop, Tools for Bridging the Worlds of Business and Design. As a follow-on to the main stage presentation, the workshop focused on how designers are changing the consulting industry for the better.
