Inclusion and catering to human diversity is part of Veryday’s founding values and our very DNA. This inclusive approach has its origins in designing for the disabled, and dates back to the late sixties before inclusive design even had a name. Throughout the years, we have developed several familiar objects, such as assistive devices, inclusive products, devices and services dedicated to the elderly and people with disabilities. Recently we’ve substantially increased our governmental services engagements, designing with the diversity and uniqueness of each end user in mind.
Singapore is very ambitious when it comes to services for its citizens and has taken an amazing journey over the last 50 years. The government supports innovation through the DesignSingapore Council, a division of the Ministry of Communication that heads innovation projects for both government organizations and SMEs in various business sectors.
Veryday will work in a highly collaborative process with the DesignSingapore Council, building insights, ideas and innovation platforms. The project will take a 360-degree perspective in considering a wide spectrum of policies, ecosystems, infrastructures, community volunteer projects, existing programs and activities.
